1999 Seville Estate Unfiltered Pinot Noir

Light weight, brick red colour, which is a touch disappointing visually. The nose is impressive, with distinct Pinot varietal character. Aroma of cherry, strawberry and spice followed by a delicate gamy end note. The palate has good weight, with flavours of game, spice and cherry plum dominant, with a touch of earth. There is a touch of stalkiness, which is supported by fine grained tannins, good flavour power wave, followed by a cherry and stalk aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
