1999 Sevenhill Seven Brothers Sesquintenary Cabernet Sauvignon

Very deep crimson brick red colour with brick red hue. Lifted nose of chocolate, earth, hints of farmyard, old leather, liquorice and spice. On the palate the spice and leather flavours are dominant, followed by a layer of farmyard and stewed fruit. Fine, firmish dry tannins. Aftertaste of earth, old leather with a touch of tea leaf emerging.
