Yet another impressive wine from Ross Estate made from 75 year old vines. Very deep crimson mauve colour. Lifted nose of spice, liquorice and classic raspberry cherry end notes. The palate is filled with rich ripe Barossa fruit - flavours of spice, raspberry and liquorice allsorts on the end palate. Excellent weight and persistence of flavour. Fine grained soft tannins followed by a long raspberry, liquorice and spice aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
