1999 Rosemount Estate Hill of Gold Cabernet Sauvignon

Opaque crimson mauve colour. The nose is subdued but will develop over the next few years. Aromas of spice, blackberry and liquorice, followed by a vanilla end note. On the palate, there is weight, but relatively short length. Flavours of plum and stewed fruit. Fine grained soft tannins, followed by aftertaste of plum, spice, stewed fruits and liquorice. Cellar 3-4 years.
