1999 Richard Hamilton Chardonnay

Bright straw colour. Impressive nose with aroma of nut, nuances of fig and melon, followed by end notes of spice, butterscotch and vanilla. On the palate, flavours of citrus, lemon, grapefruit, butterscotch and nut, with the lemon and grapefruit dominant. A leaner style, approaching Chablis in the traditional sense, dry, with long aftertaste of spice, citrus and butterscotch. Cellar 3-4 years.
