1999 Reynolds Hand Picked Triple Blend Dry Red

A most unusual blend consisting of 60% Petit Verdot, 20% Shiraz and 20% Durif.Deep crimson brick red colour. Unusually spicy nose with cinnamon and clove aromas dominant, over a background of blackpepper and plum. Very spicy palate, almost on the verge of being medicinal with again, strong flavours of cinnamon and cloves. Fine grained soft tannins, followed by a long blackpepper, plum, spice and cinnamon aftertaste. Certainly a wine worth experiencing. Cellar 2-3 years.
