Bright straw colour, showing some early bottle development. The nose is predictable with barrel ferment aromas of yeast lees, butterscotch, nut, spice and biscuit. The palate is dry and the depth of flavour drops off. Again flavours of toasted oak, nut, butterscotch, cinnamon and yeast lees followed by hints of grapefruit and tropical fruits on the end palate. Clean acid finish, followed by tropical fruit, yeast lees aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
