1999 Peregrine Estate Pinot Noir

A full bodied and full flavoured Pinot. Bright, crimson colour with some mauve edges. Impressive nose, with aroma of smoky oak, cherry, spice and earth with a hint of game as an end note.Mouthfilling palate with impressive weight and power. The initial flavours that emerge are strawberry, spice and game, with the flavour profile expanding in the mouth. Excellent length, fine grained firmish tannins, followed by aftertaste of cherry, spice and game. A wine with distinct Pinot character. Cellar 3-4 years.
