1999 Penfolds Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz

An excellent, early drinking Bin 28. Very deep crimson black colour, with deep mauve edge. Aroma of spice, vanilla, plum, and stewed fruit, followed by a vanilla end note. On the palate, flavour of spice and liquorice followed by a peppery backpalate. Moderate length – an elegant style, very drinkable. Soft tannins, followed by a long pepper liquorice aftertaste. Cellar 2 – 3 years. (2003 – 2004)
