1999 Peel Estate Shiraz

Crimson colour with deep crimson hue. The colour is holding up very well. Aroma of leather, spice, stewed plum and cedar, showing signs of bottle age. Flavours of sour cherry, followed by stewed fruit and old leather. The palate is unpleasant – some volatility evident on the nose which is continued through to influence the palate. Aftertaste of old leather and stewed fruit.
