1999 Pauletts Polish Hill River Chardonnay

Bright, pale gold colour. Aroma of toasted almonds, butterscotch, yeast lees and toasted oak with a hazelnut end note. The palate flavours are broadening out, and the wine lacks depth. Some citrus flavours emerge. Aftertaste of citrus and yeast lees. Cellar 1 – 2 years. (2002 – 2003)
