Western Australia, AUSTRALIA
$19. 99

$239.88 Dozen
Closure: Cork

A small amount of Merlot has been added to the wine, and maturation has taken place in small French oak for 12 months. The colour is too deep a brick red hue, indicating some pH problems. The wine reveals a touch of vegetal aroma with green olive overtones over a blackcurrant background. On the palate, flavours of spice and ripe plum with nuances of stewed fruit over a subtle vegetal background. Fine grained tannins, with hints of liquorice, ripe plums and spice on the aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
