A valiant attempt! Light with brick red, sienna brown colour. Very subtle nose with aroma of strawberry, stewed fruits, spice and just a faint trace of game. The palate flavours are better than the nose, with strawberry, spice dominant and slowly building up its power base. Velvet smooth tannins, followed by long strawberry, spice aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
