Very deep almost opaque black colour. Aroma of cedar, spice, blackcurrant, cigar box and violets, with just a hint of marzipan on the end. The palate is tightly structured, set for medium term cellaring. Flavours of blackcurrant, spice and cedar, supported by fine firmish dry tannins, with a hint of dark chocolate emerging on the back palate. Excellent balance. Long aftertaste of blackcurrant, spice and cedar. Cellar 4-5 years.
