Miceli is an important wine producer of Sicily owning 40 hectares divided between Castelvetrano and the island of Pantelleria. They have 2 modern cellars, one at Sciacca & one on Pantelleria. Production is made up of traditional grape varieties and styles as well as non indigenous varieties and innovative wine styles.

An outstanding Sicilian Syrah (Shiraz). Bright, crimson colour with crimson hue. Medium body. Aromatic nose with superb aroma of cedar, spice, freshly squeezed plum juice, violets and a hint of black pepper. Mouthfilling palate. Flavours of cedar, spice, almonds, ripe plums and prunes over a background of toasted oak and liquorice. Perfect balance. Velvet smooth tannins followed by a very long aftertaste of plum juice, prunes and almonds.
Cellar 2-3 years. (2004-2005)
