Yet another excellent wine from Maxwell’s. Opaque black crimson colour with mauve edge. Delightful nose with pronounced aroma of ripe plums, spice, vanilla, blackberries, earth and truffle end notes. Full bodied palate, with excellent weight and length. Generous flavours of ripe plum, spice and liquorice. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance, followed by very long aftertaste of liquorice, plum and spice. Stocks are limited.
