1999 Lindemans Padthaway Reserve Shiraz

Very deep crimson mauve colour, with deep mauve edge. Very distinct nose of stewed fruit, liquorice allsorts, spice, blackberry and vanilla. On the palate, flavours of spice and stewed fruit, over a liquorice and toasted oak background. Fine grained dry firmish tannins followed by aftertaste of liquorice and stewed fruit – with dry tannins lingering.Cellar 3-4 years (2004-2005).
