1999 Leroy Bourgogne Chardonnay

Deep straw pale gold colour with pale gold hue. The nose displays subtle aromas of cashew, honeycombe and hazelnut followed by a spice end note. The palate is quite refined with delicate flavours of cashew, dried honey and spice followed by some roasted almond end notes. Clean very dry finish. Aftertaste of dried honey, spice and roasted nuts. An elegantly styled Bourgogne that’s still holding up very well.
Drink over the next 1-2 years (2011-2013).
