Produced from 35 year old vines. Winemaker Greg Follett has produced a deep crimson wine with brick red hue. Medium body. The nose displays pronounced Cabernet character with notes of blackcurrant, ripe plum, spice and cedar emerging. The palate lets the wine down, being a touch delicate. Fine grained dry tannins followed by a blackcurrant and cedar aftertaste. The wine lacks power.
