1999 Karina Vineyard Cabernet Merlot

A well made wine that is drinking well now. Medium body, brick red colour, with crimson overtones. Aroma of blackcurrant, spice and truffle, followed by a liquorice end note. The palate flavours are delicate with little depth or complexity, and a hint of vegetal flavour, but it is at an acceptable level. Fine grained soft, dryish tannins, followed by aftertaste of liquorice, chocolate and blackcurrant.
