Grape variety: 100% Merlot
Region: This traditional French variety grows exceptionally well in the slightly cooler climate of Alto Adige.
Characteristics: This Merlot is intense dark ruby and concentrated. Its bouquet is warm and intense with a hint of blackberry jam and pronounced earthy forest undertones. It is quite pronounced initially on the palate, and has a well developed structure. It has distinct robust tannins and is very long on the palate.
Serve: Room temperature
Try With: Excellent with char grilled foods, such as small poultry and Mediterranean vegetables.
