1999 Henry's Drive Sparkling Shiraz

An outstanding example of the style. Deep crimson mousse, just fills the top of the glass - ‘a wine drinkers head’. Very deep crimson colour, with superb nose of blackberry, blackcurrant, spice, ripe plum and liquorice. Mouthfilling palate - with flavours of ripe plum and liquorice dominant over a spice and mild blackpepper background. Creamy texture, followed by clean, but soft acidity and a warm spicy plum aftertaste. Perfect with Christmas Turkey.
