1999 Hamilton Gumpr's Block Shiraz

A good result from the 1999 vintage, although lighter in palate structure than the 1998.Very deep crimson mauve colour, with purple overtones. Aroma of spice, blackberry, plum, blackcurrant and vanilla with an earthy end note. Subtle palate flavour with spicy plum dominant over layers of earth and leather. Fine grained soft tannins, followed by long earthy leather aftertaste. A fine elegant style from McLaren Vale. Cellar 2-3 years.
