1999 Grant Burge Filsell Shiraz

Made from 80 year old vines located at Lyndoch in the Barossa Valley. Very, deep crimson mauve colour. Appealing nose of spice and vanilla, followed by a hint or violet and ripe plum finishing with an earthy end note. The front part of the palate is short but the flavours build on the back palate, dominated by plum, stewed fruit and oak. Fine grained tannins, followed by an aftertaste of liquorice, vanilla and plum. Cellar 3-4 years.
