1999 Freycinet Vineyard Chardonnay

Bright straw colour. The nose shows clear varietal character, with aroma of yeast lees, cashews and hazelnut over a background of toasted oak and fig. Creamy texture, with flavours of fig, melon and citrus followed by a hint of butterscotch. Clean acid finish, followed by a lees, cashew aftertaste.
