1999 Fox Creek JSM Shiraz Cabernet

A very well made wine blended from Shiraz, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Very deep crimson, mauve colour. Excellent nose with aroma of ripe blackberries, spice, raspberry and blackcurrant. Excellent palate weight and mouthfeel with generous ripe berry fruit flavours. Again the raspberry, blackberry flavours are supported by fine grained soft tannins and long berry fruit aftertaste. An excellent short term cellaring proposition - say 2-3 years.
