1999 Evans & Tate Margaret River Classic

The Classic varieties remain undisclosed but by the smell and taste it's safe to assume a fair proportion of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Pale watery colour. Lifted grassy nose of unripe gooseberry, quite aromatic. On the palate, grassy herbaceous flavour persist followed by a distinct fenel finish. Crisp acid finish, followed by long unripe gooseberry aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
