1999 Edwards & Chaffey Section 353 Shiraz

Very deep crimson colour with deep crimson brick red hue. Cedar, spice aroma followed by end notes of black pepper and a hint of coffee. On the palate the fruit flavour profile is beginning to fade. Stewed fruit flavours emerge, followed by liquorice and a touch of smoky oak. Fine dry and persistent tannins which continue long into the aftertaste.
