A very austere wine. Bright, pale straw colour. The nose displays aroma of butterscotch, yeast lees and biscuit with a hint of flor as an end note. The palate flavours are relatively short, being totally overridden by the exceptionally high acid levels. Flavours of toasted oak, butterscotch and yeast lees emerge, and reappear on the aftertaste, only to be again totally overshadowed by very dry, high acid finish. Cellar 4-5 years.
