1999 Dominion Wines Alexander Park Cabernet Sauvignon

One of the most successful wines produced to date by Dominion Wines. Medium body, crimson brick red colour. Lifted, aromatic nose, with aroma of mint, spice, cinnamon and stewed fruit. The palate reflects the youthful nature of this wine, its distinctive inky cherry, mint and stewed fruit flavours over a blackcurrant end palate. Fine grained tannins, good balance, followed by an aftertaste of spice, mint and stewed fruit. Cellar 3-4 years.

Medium body, crimson colour with brick red over tones. The nose displays considerable complexity, with perfumed aromas of cinnamon, cloves, cedar, blackcurrant and liquorice all sorts. The palate flavours fall away, revealing components of cinnamon, blackcurrant and spice. Fine grained dry tannins. Long stewed fruit and cedar aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
