1999 Domaine Confuron-Cotetidot Nuits-St-George

It is very hard to come to terms with the quality of this wine and its price tag. This wine is a disappointment! Translucent brick red colour. The nose displays a hint of stalk, followed by cherry and spice. On the palate, the stalky flavour component is quite persistent and overrides the plum, cherry and spice flavours. Soft tannins with an aftertaste of stalk and spice.
