1999 De Bortoli Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Made from De Bortoli’s oldest vines, macerated on skins post fermentation and fermented in French oak for 18 months.
Very deep brick red colour. Lifted nose, with aroma of ripe blackcurrant and violets, followed by notes of dark chocolate and liquorice. On the palate, flavours of cedar, blackcurrant and liquorice, followed by fine grained dry firmish, but balanced tannins. Aftertaste of mint, plum, liquorice and blackcurrant.
Cellar 2-3 years (2004-2005).
Alc/Vol: 13.5%.
