1999 Curly Flat Chardonnay

A sophisticated Chardonnay, leaner than the 98, but capable of building over the next few years. Bright deep straw colour with pale gold hue. Aroma of honeycomb, yeast lees, biscuit and fig, followed by a spicy oak end note. The palate is quite dry with flavours of yeast lees, grapefruit and spicy oak over a biscuit cashew back palate. Crisp acid finish followed by a very long yeast lees, biscuit and sublte oak aftertaste.
