A rather indifferent Pinot from this otherwise significant Margaret River producer. Crimson brick red colour with mauve hue. Medium body. The nose displays notes of game, toasted oak and dark cherries followed by a hint of beetroot. The varietal character that is so apparent on the nose fades into the background - the palate lacks power, displaying subtle toasted oak and spice flavour. Moderate length , followed by a cherry and spice aftertaste.
