1999 Crawford River Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Bright pale straw colour. Lifted nose of pineapple and unripe passionfruit followed by grassy herbaceous end notes. On the palate the grassy herbaceous flavours persist but fade towards the back palate. Clean very crisp acidity with a fading aftertaste. Somewhat disappointing given the excellent wines produced from other regions.
