One could easily mistake this for an Australian Shiraz. Very deep crimson mauve colour. Aroma of spice with earthy Rhone like notes over nuances of confectionery and violets. On the palate liquorice, spice flavours emerge with distinct stewed fruit back palate flavours. Soft acid finish with liquorice, stewed fruit aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
