1999 Cockfighters Ghost Pinot Noir

Light weight, brick red, orange brown colour. Simple nose, with aroma of stewed fruit and spice followed by a hint of cherry. Light, thin, hard palate. The tannins are firm and dry with some strawberry jam flavours emerging, but overtaken by spice, leather and earth aftertaste, with lingering dry tannins. Cellar 1-2 years.
