1999 Clyde Park Pinot Noir

Clyde Park is Garry Farr's old vineyard. Light, sienna brown, brick red colour. Subdued nose, with aroma of earth, spice and cherry. The palate is better than the colour suggests with some respectable weight and persistence. Flavours of strawberry, game and spice, with a distinct stalky end palate which contributes to a slightly bitter finish. Fine grained tannins, with good persistence of flavour, without great length.
