Bright, deep straw colour, showing signs of some bottle development. Refined nose, with judicious use of oak, and subtle aromas of yeast lees and biscuit. The palate reflects the subdued character of the nose, again, with a degree of elegance not usually associated with Australian Chardonnay. Flavours of yeast lees, with a flor, nut flavour providing complexity. Very long aftertaste of biscuit, cashew, hazelnut and flor yeast. Cellar 2-3 years.
