Excellent tightly structured Bordeaux made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Very deep crimson colour with crimson hue. Superb nose, a wonderful sniff with aromas of confectionery, violets, cedar, blackcurrant, truffle and mulberry followed by liquorice and spice. The palate displays excellent length, with distinct blackcurrant, liquorice and truffle flavours emerging. Fine grained tannins, perfect balance followed by a long blackcurrant, spice and truffle aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years (2006-2007).
