An excellent follow up to the magnificent 1996 Chateau Fayau that will continue to develop with time. Bright golden colour. Lifted nose, with superb aroma of apricot and honey raisins, showing excellent botrytis character. The palate is luscious, with excellent weight and mouth feel. Flavours of spice, honey and raisins emerge, with just a touch of citrus on the back palate. Clean finish, with a very long aftertaste of spice and honey.
