1999 Charles Sturt Chardonnay

Charles Sturt has produced an excellent array of very well made extremely affordable wines consistently over many years.This wine has been largely fermented in stainless steel and then blended with barrel fermented components. Bright pale straw colour. Excellent lifted aromatic nose, filled with the aroma of cinnamon, spice, peach and tropical fruit. The palate displays good weight and depth of flavours with again citrus, cinamon and tropical fruit dominant. Soft acid finish with very long cinnamon, tropical fruit aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
