A small proportion of Cabernet Franc has been added to the blend, and this wine has been matured for 9 months in French and American oak.Medium weight, brick red colour with crimson edge. Slightly jammy nose with aroma of spice, leather and blackcurrant. On the palate some overripe fruit flavours emerge, leaving a jammy impression, with the blackcurrant flavour component being in the background. Fine grained, dryish tannins, with an aftertaste of prune, spice and plum.
