GRAPE VARIETY
Grenache. During the last few years, the use of new grapes varieties as Syrah and Mourvèdre, have been permitted to develop the real possibilities of the soil.

SOIL
At just a few kilometres from the Dentelles de Montmirail , the Rasteau vineyard is one of the most impressive of the Vaucluse region. It now spreads out onto brown chalky soils and poor soils on marls.

HARVEST
Hand harvested at perfect maturity.

VINIFICATION
The grapes are 100 % de-stemmed. The maceration is between 15 and 21 days long with two daily pumpings.

MATURING
The wine is aged in oak casks and in vats. The wine is assembled before bottling, after 12 to 16 months of maturing.

TASTING
Colour : Very deep purple colour.
Nose :Elegant and powerful with a large number of fruit aromas (redcurrant, blackcurrant and raspberry...).
Palate : A generous and well-structured wine.
