GRAPE VARIETY
100 % Syrah.

SOIL
Our Hermitage « Mure de Larnage » comes from the most recent of our Hermitage vines (average age of the vines is 20 years). The vineyards are partially on granitic soils and the rest on glacial alluviums.

HARVEST
Hand harvested at maturity.

VINIFICATION
The harvest, totally de-stemmed, is vinified in open vats (oak). Two daily treadings ensure good tannin extraction.

MATURING
Several air rackings enable slow and natural clarification. Maturing and bottling after 10 to 12 months.

TASTING
Colour : Dark red garnet.
Nose :Numerous red summer fruits and blackberries, violet.
Palate : Round and elegant, gentle tannins with a blackcurrant final, raspberry.
