An impressive barrel ferment Semillon, and arguably the best wine from the current releases.Brilliant pale straw colour, with a hint of green. Excellent nose, with aroma of nut, yeast lees and biscuit, showing unmistakable barrel ferment qualities. On the palate complex flavours emerge with secondary barrel ferment qualities pronounced. Nut, toasted oak, yeast lees with tropical fruit in the background make for a complex drinking experience, and just as you think that its - a hint of sherbet emerges. Excellent palate weight with long aftertaste of citrus, nut and butterscotch. Cellar 3-4 years.
