1999 Capel Vale Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

A well made flavour filled wine. Bright pale straw colour. The nose is very appealing with lifted aromas of spice and unripe gooseberry followed by a tropical fruit end note. The palate has excellent weight and mouthfeel with grassy herbaceous flavours dominant, finishing with some aniseed characteristics on the back palate. Clean crisp acidity with herbaceous unripe gooseberry aftertaste. Cellar 1-2 years.
