1999 Capel Vale Merlot

Medium body, brick red colour. Aroma of mint, spice, leather, truffle and dark chocolate. On the palate, flavours of mint and dark chocolate persist with stewed fruit flavours emerging. The tannins are fine grained, yet quite dominant. Long dry tannins with stewed fruit aftertaste.
