A very well made wine, with all the attributes of a barrel fermented Chardonnay, but if there is a criticism it lies with the fact that the wine has been made to a formula, and stylistically is very similar to many other Chardonnays on the market.Bright, pale straw colour. Aromas of biscuit, butterscotch, yeast lees, melon and fig. The palate flavours are predictable, full bodied, with butterscotch, yeast lees and melon flavours. Well made, clean finish, with yeasty butterscotch aftertaste. Cellar 2-3 years.
