1999 Best's Great Western Pinot Noir

This is a very good wine with moderate Pinot Noir power. Very deep crimson mauve colour, excellent colour for Pinot. On the nose, there is a hint of game, followed by strawberry, cherry and spice notes. Full bodied palate with distinct flavours of spice, plum and cherry emerging, moderate flavour wave. Fine, firmish, yet balance tannins, followed by aftertaste of liquorice, plum, spice and cherry.
